Provisioning Information
Sailing through the waters of the enchanting Whitsunday Islands on a Sunsail yacht is the holiday of a lifetime and careful provisioning is an important part of the preparation for your trip.
Running out of food, forgetting basic ingredients, or having to put up with unappetising meals can spoil the most idyllic holiday.
There are a number of options when it comes to stocking your yacht with food and beverages for your sailing holiday.
You can bring your stores with you, you can spend part of your holiday shopping on Hamilton Island or in Airlie Beach, or you can have Whitsunday Provisioning do the legwork for you.

Whitsunday Provisioning packages range from 'Full Platinum' through to 'Partial Gold'. Prices start at $36 per person per day and even the kids are catered for with their 'Kidz Packages'! Package prices depend on how many passengers are on board and whether you prefer a full or partial option. More details are available on the Whitsunday Provisioning website.
All charter guests using Whitsunday Provisioning can enjoy the benefits of:
- A seamless process facilitated by Sunsail for the convenience of our clients
- Provisioning orders arrive at the Whitsunday base early morning and are stored in our onsite refrigerators before being loaded on to your yacht and packed away by Sunsail staff in preparation for your arrival. This ensure that there are no delays in getting you out on the water as quickly as possible.
- Perishables such as meat and fish delivered frozen to maintain the shelf life of the goods for longer
NB. If you choose to order from another provisioning company or supplier then Sunsail will unfortunately have to levy a $100 food & beverage handling fee and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the fulfillment of the order.
