Now sponsored by Meridien Marina's, the Airlie Beach Race Week has become established as a major event on the Pacific Ocean sailing rally circuit.

This first class international event is an ideal 'warm up series' for Australia's premier offshore yacht racing regatta, the Audi Hamilton Island Race Week.

Inclusions:

  • 7 nights yacht charter - please note that your vessel must be sailed back to Hamilton Island immediately after racing on the 14th of August, this can be done for you for $200.00 if you wish to stay in Airlie Beach for the presentation.
  • Fuel
  • Race levy
  • Spinnaker pole and sheets, braces, kicker and basic blocks.
  • Delivery of Yacht to Abel Point Marina for regatta start.

Additional Costs:

  • Berth at Abel Point Marina

  • Security Bond - $3000.  The bond is left as security against loss or damage to the vessel or its equipment during Race Week

Booking Conditions:          

To place a reservation, a 50% deposit is required.  Full payment will be due on the 1st of May 2008.

Cancellation Terms:
If the charter cancels prior to the 1st of January 2008 a $300 administration fee will apply.

If the charter cancels between the 1st of January and the 1st of May 2008 the deposit of 50% will be forfeited.

Final payment is due no later than the 1st of May 2008.  If the charter should cancel after the 1st of May 2007 then 100% of the charter fee will be forfeited.  

Additional Information

  • On the day your charter commences you will be briefed on the operation of your vessel and the racing area.
  • Crew shirts can be arranged by Sunsail at your request.          
  • Provisioning, accommodation and travel insurance can all be arranged by Sunsail at your request.
