Sunsail Thailand's Sailing School has an exclusive selection of MileCatchers Voyages that allow sailing enthusiasts to learn new skills and accrue sea miles while sailing through exotic cruising grounds including Koh Samui, the untouched Ang Thong group of islands, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Langkawi in Malaysia, Nha Trang in Vietnam and Malaysia's Sabana Cove.
As well as sailing, there is plenty of time to visit historic cities, enjoy fabulous shopping and explore secluded sandy islands during the voyage.
These Asian MileCatchers Voyages can be booked exclusively by groups, or students can join the voyages on a singles basis.

2007 MileCatchers Voyages
KOH SAMUI, Thailand to LANGKAWI, Malaysia
Description: MileCatcher – 2 Legs

Leg 1 - 23rd September – 30th September
Leg 2 - 30th September – 7th October 2007
Duration: 2 x 7 days
Accommodation: Depending on number of crew, twin share may be necessary. (max of 4 guests plus Skipper)
Experience required - minimum of RYA Competent Crew or equivalent
Miles - Covering approx 500nm per leg in tidal water, plus a number of night sails (dependent on route)
Cost - $1,200 per person per leg

This Asia MileCatcher voyage travels from our base on the island of Koh Samui, in the Gulf of Thailand to our base on the island of Langkawi on the west coast of Malaysia. The voyage will be split into 2 legs of approximately 500 miles each lasting 7 days, providing those with limited time, the opportunity to join our programme.
Leg 1 consists of a 7 day voyage covering approximately 500 miles. Departing from Koh Samui - Thailand, and heading south along the Malaysian peninsular, stopping at the Perhentian islands, Redang, Tengol and finishing at Tioman Island on Sunday 30th September.
On arrival at Tioman, those who are departing can take a flight with Berjaya Air (http://berjaya-air.com) to either Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, where they can join on-going international flights or extend their stay at one of Tioman's stunning resorts.
Leg 2 continues from Tioman on 30th September and consists of a 7 day passage of approximately 550 miles. Navigating through Singapore and then heading north through the Straits of Malacca, stopping at Port Dixon, the island of Lamut and finishing at our Sunsail base on the duty free island of Langkawi.
