RYA Courses
Sunsail RYA (Royal Yachting Association) sailing courses cater for beginners right through to advanced sailors.
RYA certificates are recognised throughout the international sailing community, meaning your qualifications will be accepted in almost every cruising destination you travel to!
Sunsail's Whitsunday and Thailand Sailing Schools have been awarded official RYA Training Establishment status, so you can be assured of receiving the highest quality tuition!
RYA Courses Available
RYA Course Inclusions:
- All RYA courses include all meals for the duration of the course and accomodation onboard the yacht. Accommodation is on a shared cabin basis and can sometimes include a student being accommodated in the saloon. As part of your course all meals are stowed, prepared and cooked by students. Please advise any dietary requirements on booking.
- Linen provided
What to Bring:
- Course notes / log book
- Sun protection - hat, sunscreen, long sleeved light sun shirt, polarised sunglasses
- Swimwear
- Beach towel
- Soft, white-soled shoes or non marking deck shoes
- Camera
- Personal toiletries
- Any medication you may require
- Jacket or tracksuit for evenings

Learn to Sail - Christmas 2009
This year we are offering our Competent Crew and Day Skipper courses on a special Christmas Sailing School. So why not do something different for the festive season and combine a holiday in the glorious Whitsundays with learning a new skill?

- Embark - Sat 26th Dec 2008 at 4pm
- Course begins - Sun 27th Dec 2008 at 9am
- Course ends - Thur 31st Dec 2008 at 4pm
- Disembark - Fri 1st Jan 2009 at 10am
